    I have no desire whatsoever to see this movie. I was in a band like that in HS. Not nearly as bad, but with tons of pressure.

    That's unfortunate. If it helps, the kid is kind of a dick and pretty much encourages the abuse because he so badly wants to be the best, even before meeting the teacher. I understand if you don't want to watch it because of traumatic experiences though.
