I am puzzled everyday walking to work. I walk by a couple Starbucks and it's always packed. That place has the shittiest coffee I've ever had. McDonalds and 7 eleven have better coffee for more than half the price.

I just do not get it.

All the proof needed is that Starbucks is so popular.

    "Hello Starbucks."

    ""Yes?'

"I'm offended by the use of Christmas in your marketing campaign."

    "Ohhh welllll. You win...."

Oh well. I was in a Starbucks once, maybe twenty five years ago. Ballard is a nice place to stop by when on a boat. Town is a close walk from the marina, Starbucks on one block and Tully's on the next, close for a morning cup or two. I alway go with Tully's, real coffee.

I don't get it either. Everything in there is overpriced. There's a Starbucks on the ground floor of my building at work and my boss would always want to do our one on one meetings there. The look on the baristas face when I didn't know the difference between a vente or a grande said it all.

If I'm paying extra for coffee, dutch bros is way better than Starbucks. And you don't have to deal with the massive number of hipsters hanging out in a Starbucks

I think Starbucks is more yuppie than it is hipster.

The hipsters hang out at weird trendy places like Coava Coffee. I met someone for coffee there once, and the hipster levels were off the charts.

I'm not a coffee drinker (smells great, but I never learned to like the taste) so put me down under who gives a crap.

It also took off because of the people who think we want to watch them on youtube with their red starbucks cup and their condescending attitude about anyone that doesn't agree with them.

I really don't understand the mindset of the people who post videos of themselves talking about whatever the random outrage is that particular day of the week.
