    I was so annoyed when they first created him. I was always proud that the Blazers were one of the organizations without a mascot.

    It's a fucking cat, for Godssakes. How the hell is a cat relevant to our team name/region? Even a jacked Lewis/Clark or hot Sacagawea would be better.

    It's because the WNBA team had a dalmatian. So they had Spot the fire dog (or whatever) and Blaze the trail cat. It was extremely stupid.

    When we had the unofficial Big Foot mascot in the early 90s, that was great. Then the Sonics stole that idea. Well guess what - they're dead. We should take that back.
