We don't need a repeat of last year with your fingers. Take a break, let your thumb heal, and then come back strong.

He prides himself on playing 82 games. I don't see him sitting out even if it's the best thing for the team.

He is a competitor so this probably wouldn't work either but fine, play him all 82 games but for the next 5 games play him 12 mins per game.

The biggest problem is he took a lot of really bad shots. If he's gonna play Sunday, he has to limit himself to open shots. Let CJ be the first option.

    Fully agree.
Getting tired of the head-smackingly stupid, unnecessary, forced shots from Dame.
Especially because it comes from our leader - who should know better.

This is a joke thread right? It's only a torn thumbnail.

Dame told me prevalent he could barely dribble the ball. Thumb was killing him. Guy is a warrior! Rest would do him good, but that's not him.

Seriously - ask him to stop forcing contested long bombs early in the clock - they're killing us.

Trade Lillard. The guy is 1 band saw accident away from being a liability. If he has this much trouble without a thumbnail imagine how he would play without a thumb!

His value will never be higher.

He won't be able to say "who has two thumbs and plays PG for the Trail Blazers? This guy..." anymore.

And? He's not going to injure it further, so why not play?

Does anyone actually think we'd play better with him sitting even if he's not 100%? CJ was given more point guard duties tonight and failed miserably. I definitely don't want Dame to sit just because he has a fucked up nail, and honestly I don't think there's any chance he does.

In fact it helps to not have one. Easier to do the mic drop.
