Dothan Police Department Planted Drugs on Young Black Men For Years

Fair enough, I don't mind. I have a thick skin when it comes to discussing stuff online, and within an "off-topic" forum especially, so you can call me a fuck-wad all day long Sly!

 

Just for what it's worth, the "Fuck the Police" offended the hell out of me. We run them out of business we all are in deep.
But it does appear that the message is indeed be taught.

 

PA could arrest the Paul George's and Ben Simmon's of the world and their bail would be having to play on the Blazers!

Id say most pigs will plant evidence or lie to save their own ass if they fuck up, or beat someone a little too much, or what have you. This is common sense. Self preservation is a powerful motivator.

 

I don't subscribe to the "fuck the police" stance but more of a "clean up the police" stance. But to act like you don't understand why people, especially black people, would adopt the "fuck the police" viewpoint is blind to reality. Over and over and over groups of police are shown to be racist. And when you have an extreme position of power like police, and abuse that power, people will turn on you and forgo any respect.

Now I personally try and give every individual, police, black, Jewish, woman, Muslim... The benefit of the doubt. I honestly believe most in every group are good and honest. But just as many here jump to the edges and don't immediately trust Muslims, others who see repeated abuses by police don't immediately trust the Police.

 

Like I said, don't say shit about my parenting skills or my child. That is across the line. And I am completely serious mother fucker we can meet up at Mount Tabor. You keep my kid out of anything we post.

 

And you know what, you'd be lucky to have a child like I have. He's an amazing boy. Smart, kind, loving, and more forward-thinking then half of you in here.

 

I don't give any police or anyone with a gun who is readily able to use it any benefit of any doubt. You have a gun so you are a potential killer.

 

You motherfuckers come in here daily and blame black people as a whole for this and that all fucking day. I can't even call you "white people" as a group or I get called racist... Fuck that shit... None of you know me personally. Those of you who have met me and my child have nothing but kind words to say about us and acknowledgments on how well behaved and smart he is.

So when my son is running for mayor, vote for him because it'll be one of the best things you ever do.

 

I don't know about privatization. Whenever there is a profit motive things always go awry. That's what's going on in our for-profit prison model. I normally support unions but in all honestly the police union isn't doing shit to protect the public from their officers who are shooting us in the back. Officer Frashour has his job back after murdering Aaron Campbell cowardly by shooting him in the back while running away. I said it, and I'll say it again: fuck the police.

 

Really! Is this in fact true or is it the police policies that are objectionable? Shooting the guy in Chicago I think is a policy problem. Same in Ferguson, Same with the kid in Cleveland, and the Guy chocked to death in NY.

Perhaps voters need to insist upon change, but "fuck the police" will not change a thing, it will assure more of the same.

Further, I absolutely agree with you. I never said I didn't understand why black people would say that. However, it's not an excuse. No rational person can sit there and say "fuck the police" and expect that to be constructive for anyone or anything. When people are responsible for another persons life and upbringing and you foster an ideal like that, it's just bad news all around.
