gawd damn I love the Diaz Bros...... Nate would probably lose to McGregor but damn if it wouldn't be a war.
FYI I've watched this gif 10 times already...

Pretty much... Cerrone can take a shot.... Raf must have dynamite in his hands... so disappointed by that outcome. Out of all the title shots that happened recently, this is the one I wanted to change hand and of course it doesn't happen.

So how many people wanna bet whether McGregor fights rda, or Edgar or aldo, that people will still bitch and say he's ducking so and so?

I think it's a can't lose situation to have McGregor and rda fight. If McGregor loses oh well, he still has the fw division to whoop on

The only issue with fighting RDA right away is that he hasn't earned the right to fight the LW champ by beating actual LW's. Toss in the fact that LW is the deepest division and it's a slap in the face of so many LW's that have worked in a tough division to earn a title shot.

Having said that, part of the UFC's business model has been to make fights that make $ so having 2 champs face each other would be great. More fun would be Connor vs Nate though... the build up to that would be so entertaining. There's no way a brawl doesn't erupt at a press conference with Connor, Nate and Nick involved.

I also don't think you can accuse Connor of ducking anyone. He's fought everyone put in front of him and he's begged for a fight with Aldo a man who hadn't lost in a decade. Who's more intimidating than Aldo pre-loss? No one.

Diaz beat Johnson. Still ranked two spots below him.

Marquardt beat Dollaway. Dollaway is ranked, Marquardt is not.

Overeem beat JDS. Overeem ranked below JDS.

Shevchenko beat Kaufman. Ranked three spots below her.

Kowalkiewicz beat Markos. Also ranked three spots below her.

Not to mention that Holly Holm is ranked below Ronda Rousey in the P4P rankings.

Holy shit the rankings suck. Is it any wonder the matchmakers ignore them?

Nate Diaz is awesome. He looked pretty good in rounds 2 and 3. I laughed my ass off when he open palmed slapped Johnson; then pointed out to Johnson that he slapped him. Nate vs Conor for the pre fight track talk, please! One day!

JDS needs to retire. Cain stole his soul. Has he ever looked so slow and timid? I could not believe what I was watching. All the money I won on Nate; I lost on JDS.

Cerrone is the new Kenny Florian.
