I seriously want to encourage anyone who wants to just download the album for free; it boosts my numbers and gets me some perks with the bandcamp service. If you want to throw in a buck, feel free, but you're under no obligation. But downloads help my visibility.

 

One of my favorite synth soundtracks is the Tangerine Dream soundtrack to 'Risky Business'.

 

And the other would be the Vangelis score to 'Bladerunner.'

 

Their 80's output is my favorite. Lots of good soundtracks and the albums Exit through Optical Race.

 

Yep, I even prefer their score to Jerry Goldsmith's score for Ridley Scott's 'Legend.'

 

Of course I'm a giant Klaus Schulz nerd too; I think I have all the La Vie Electronique albums now.

 

YES! And this from a guy who basically worships Goldsmith for his Star Trek work.

 

I just bought a copy and am listening to the album now as I get ready for day to begin. Uplifting.

I can't blame Peart. Chronic tendinitis is a bitch. His drumming is a physical marvel and he's not a spring chicken no mo.

I'm listening to his book "Ghost Rider" (reading on Kindle a little here and there too) on Audible. It's pretty wonderful.
