Why Black Lives Matter movement is bullshit

It makes me sad when professors make idiotic statements that would embarrass a 10 year old.

Every city in the US doesn't have the exact percentage of black people as the US as a whole.

 

Of course, that is just a silly semantical argument. Like saying more people die in car accidents than in combat, so driving a car is a greater threat. Well, ok, but would you rather drive to the grocery store or fight on the front lines of a ground war?

But what's more, as I've repeated many times here, its very misleading, because "white" people only kill more in total when you count all latinos as "white". And the general public does not consider latinos to be white. Yet Denny keeps repeating that stat.

Blacks commit murder at such a higher rate, that their totals are even more than any other ethnic group. But face the facts, achademics are spineless cowards who will bend over backwards and do anything to avoid saying anything that might be construed as racist.....against any race other than whites that is.

 

And that is why I asked for someone to present some valid stats. Lumping Latinos in with Whites is completely misleading and invalidating the data.

What happens when a black person murders?

Link? I don't see that you've ever answered that question as to whether or not you agree that those measures would work for all people not just black folks.

And DVISS, plenty of Cops have gone to jail or faced charges when improperly using their firearms, so your 'nothing' statement is a little to0 disingenuous.

 

See, this just proves that you haven't understood my point. I think cops who murder should go to prison, absolutely. Police brutality is a real problem. What I'm arguing, is the premise that blacks people are being targeted and killed by policemen because of their race. The numbers just don't bear that out. I also don't like the racist nature of the BLM movement. Their leaders have called for the murder of white cops, and their protests are ridiculous and anti-social. If they are not a racist organization, why do they get mad when someone says "all lives matter".

And if black lives matter, why aren't they focusing on the 99.99% of blacks that are murdered by other blacks.

 

I posted many videos, of examples where white people were killed by police, when it was way out of line, and I posted stats that show that white people are killed by police disporportionatly to the amount of violent crime they committed. But if a group of white people got together and formed a group called "white lives matter" and did and said the same things as BLM, I'd give the same criticism. Why focus on one race? It's stupid.

 

Sounds good to me! At least the first responders, the beat cop. But you are not going to get a policy change like this by suspending Grand Juries, and putting Cops on trial that will no doubt be acquitted because they were following police procedures.

The change needs to begin at the top, change the boss or get him to change his policies and procedures. While there are no doubt bad cops, bad policies cause piss poor law enforcement far more that bad cops.

If a bear is roaming the town, they will send for the team to tranquilizes the bear and haul him away. I a schizo is off his meds waving a weapon, they will shoot his ass if he doesn't obey their commands, perhaps don't even bother with a command. That is piss poor policy. You don't expect compliance from a bear, why the hell would you from an irrational person? Expecting rational
behavior from from a person who is not informed or processing rationally, is totally irrational, however, it appears that is the procedure the police are instructed to follow.

 

When I went to a Police 'citizens academy' in the city I live in, they instructed us that their policy is to always (if needed) use one level of force higher than the suspect. So you wave a knife around, I bust out my gun, for example.
