Lillard is better at finishing at the rim and shooting from deep but CJ is much, much better at creating a midrange jumper or teardrop floater than Dame. As of now, Dame is the better defender and has fewer turnovers....no fact checking here, just my season eye test.
CJs a better defender if you're gonna base it off DRPM, but that also says Lillard is the worst defensive PG in the league which I don't agree with
They are both getting better, my preference to start Crabbe at the 2 is not going to happen under Stotts...he likes the combo of Dame and CJ...I think I'd use a different rotation. That's why I'm a rich and famous coach in the NBA
This I have to agree with. Lillard is going against the deepest in todays NBA every game. Where CJ faces one of the weakest every night. The quality of player is totally different so comparing stats isn't going to tell who the better defender is.
I do not understand why some people are getting so bent out of shape over this question. I'm not saying he should be traded. I'm not saying it's a negative in any way. I'm merely asking if people think CJ is better, or could be better eventually, than Dame.
