Man... I was about to be like.... they hired him back???

The Niners make sense. I want to see what Kap can do with CK.

I want them to burn and fail but they won't and it makes me mad...

However if after two or so seasons and the niners still suck and Helfrich is looking bad... This could be a good scenario for the Ducks lol

Aaaaaaarrrrrgggghhhhh!!!!! I was still hanging on to a shred of Niners loyalty by my finger nails but now I'm in free fall. Every time I think the Yorks can't get any more stupid, they prove me wrong in a spectacular way. Kap better enjoy his health while he can......

So now it's Oregon vs. USC in the NFC West all over again. Must be awkward for Duck Seahawk bandwagoners.

Does this mean that Kaep definitely comes back? I thought that was cost-prohibitive due to his salary cap hit.

I imagine Kap coming back was a major reason for CK signing with the Niners. He is perfect for Kelly's system.

Good hire. I wouldn't be surprised to CK flourish in a CK offense. Oh crap. They both have the initials CK.

On paper he seems to be but I not so sure that it is slam dunk (either in fit or that he comes back). That injury could also linger. A lot to pay a guy who has some many questions and might not even start the year as the starter even if you do bring him back.

No CK is perfect what it really comes down to is, can Chip build a better oline for this system and can he improve their defense that isn't THAT deep anymore. They'll need a lot of bodies to keep up with his system health wise.

Now they just need to pick up Griffin and Manziel, and Kelly can have a triumvirate of quarterbacks that have no chance of being successful anywhere except in his offense.

I wish Kiko, Bradford, and Butt fumble would have been packaged up with Chip.... god damn him. Only 2 good knees among the three of em, and no good QB.

That's the best part of this hire..... Chip is NOT the GM. His terrible GM'ing skills were getting in the way of his coaching.

As a lifetime Jets fan, I used to think that Woody Johnson was a bad owner. But Gabe York takes the cake. What a douchebag! Kelly won't last a year with that kind of dysfunction around him. It will.be hard for him to contact the owner when he's bulll dozing youth soccer fields in Santa Clara!
