Who are the best Blazers at each position for All-Time?? Listed 1-5.

    PG
    Porter
    Lillard
    Strickland
    Twardzik
    Miller

    SG
    Drexler
    Roy
    Hollins
    Petrie
    Paxson

    SF
    Kersey
    Gross
    Pippen
    Vandeghwe
    Robinson

    PF
    Wicks
    Aldridge
    Lucas
    Williams
    Wallace

    C
    Walton
    Sabonis
    Duckworth
    Thompson
    Owens

This is my list. In some cases I gave credit for accomplishments like All-Star games.
Please before you criticize my order; research and make informed comments. Some of you are too young to have known some of the earlier players and their impact or stats for multiple seasons while with Blazers.
Did I leave anyone important off the list? Discuss.

Give it a few years; maybe CJ will be third on that list.

I think Petrovic is a good call even though he didn't play that much here.

I'd add Joel Przybilla to that list. But I'm a soft-hearted sucker.

Good thing this is opinion based, otherwise id mark this as a fail. LOL. Sorry but how is Kersey tops of the list for a franchise that has had so many quality PF's?
Also, Ainge at the bottom? Below players like rodriguez and Twardzick?

All I can say is wow....

UNLESS you are ranking them in order of thier output ONLY with the Blazers?

IF this is a list of career bests and not just Blazers bests, there is NO WAY Ainge is at the bottom of the list. and there is no WAY Kersey is at the top of the list. Sorry. Thats my opinion.

Oops, My bad. I did miss that, but then I suppose I did because I thought this was a list of tops of all time?

Hell I can just list ten players at each position in no particular order too. :)

Sorry Maris. I think your taking the easy road. Rank them please! :)

Going on overall career - not only what they did for the Blazers:

PG: Strickland (will be overtaken by Lillard if he continues but was a great facilitator)
    SG: Drexler
    SF: Pippen
    PF: Wicks
    C: Walton

    Blazer specific contribution:
PG: Porter (again, likely to be overtaken by Lillard)
SG: Drexler (Roy had a chance to knees took him out)
    SF: Kersey
PF: Toughest call (loved Wicks and he was good, Lucas brought a championship, Wallace headcase but very talented, LMA talented but not a headcase) - Of the group and in their prime, I'd take Wicks.
    C: Walton

Good list, but I don't see how you expect to start an argument without naming the top player at each position:

    Lillard
    Drexler
    Lucas
    Kersey
    Walton

    G'head, wanna fight about it?

    Actually, we should have starter/backup.

    PG: Lillard/Porter
    SG: Drexler/Roy
    SF: Kersey/Pippen
    PF: Wicks/Lucas
    C: Walton/Sabonis

I know - in my previous post I picked Porter ahead of Lillard but that was due to overall career contribution. If I'm putting a team on the floor right now, I'd put Lillard first and Porter as his backup.

Pippen was way better than Kersey when he played for the Bulls, while still good when he was here, he wasn't that same player and so going on what they did as a Blazer, I'd pick Kersey first. If you are going by what they did overall, you have to go with Pippen.

I think it is more a reference to him drinking the kool-aid that the Blazers are always dishing out - Connaughton is gonna be a game changer! (or such similar ravings that sometimes seem to come out - especially during pre-season.

Good point, but I'm violently disagreeing with Wicks.
