http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...t-4-6-months-shoulder-surgery-bulls/78915696/ Since Noah's in the final year of his contract, there's a good chance that his Bulls career ended the other night. He's my favorite Bulls player. We all knew that the Bulls had one quality big too many, but this sure isn't my preferred solution to that problem. Tough day for Bulls fans.
Sad to see him go out like that. My favorite Bulls as well. Two seasons ago he was DPOY, all-NBA 1st team, all-star and 4th in MVP voting.
This is really bad for Noah. I think the chances are higher that will be a Bull next season... Who will sign him? Perhaps Bulls for an reasonable price... I would like this.
I don't see this that way. You can try and give him a chance. See what he can do with a 1-year contract.
Sorry to see this. I guess he was overplayed this year. If the Bulls cut him and someone else picks him up, the Bulls are off the hook for his salary. I don't think he'd clear waivers (for clarification). The Bulls have nothing to lose if they don't intend to sign him in the offseason. OK, maybe the option to S&T him, but I doubt they care to.
Sad for Noah. He's been the face of the Bulls more than any other player post-Jordan IMO. Even more than Derrick. He'll go down as one of my all-time favorite players...... You've been a True Warrior brother, stay strong.
I don't see Noah's absence meaning much for the team's regular season record. His absence might even help. However I think him being out for the season hurts our chances in the playoffs, where there will probably be a few games his defensive intensity and size can't be replaced, particularly against Cleveland and possibly San Antonio if we make it that far. So I'd love it if you were right, and we could stick around long enough in the playoffs for him to make a comeback this year.
