I don't really care what the Cleveland Lebrons do but I don't see any trade that will make them beat either SA or Golden State in the finals. Trying to win right now no matter the cost is a huge mistake. They never should have traded for Love and trying Kyrie for CP3 would be doubling down on that same fuck up.

With their respective ages to consider, this would drastically help the cavs now but hurt them later once cp starts slowing down. The trade would also hurt the clippers now, but help them in the future when Paul is finalizing his career and Irving is in his prime. If the clips still want to contend now, I really don't understand a trade like this for them.

Neither team is achieving their potential. A change of scenery makes sense. If they don't do anything, there's no reason to expect anything to change for the better.

I think the Cavs win this trade big.

That article has zero quotes from anyone, so how can it be "rumored"? Seems to me it's just media speculation.

As far as the idea goes, I can't see it working. Chris Paul would need to take the ball out of LeBron's hands to be effective, and I can't see that happening. The Cavs need good off the ball players to fit with LeBron.

I think it's a better trade for the Clippers because because they could match up Blake and Kyries age "arc", and spend 3 years trying to put together a team that could compete in 2018-19, when Kyrie and Blake will be in their primes and the Warriors and Spurs likely won't be as good.

Another reason is my roommates a Cavs fan that hates Lebron and literally thinks Kyrie is the best player in the league. His reaction would be priceless.

CP3s better off the ball than Kyrie. Plus the Cavs have 3 of the worst defenders in the league in the starting lineup, so the defensive impact would be the big reason for them to do it

Right and LeBron doesn't want to wait. He wants to win and he wants to win now. I think the Cavs would sacrifice the future for a shot at the championship.

Cavs have to go all out or they'll have wasted the chance ..they've already bet the bank on the current roster..Chris Paul is another max player..they have to move Love if they do this

Kingspeed with another hot trade rumor.

Could we facilitate and pick up DeAndre Jordan?

Considering how LBJ nearly willed the Cavs to a title last summer with no support, I dunno man.... Dubs still have the advantage, I'd think for this season, it makes the Cavs a worthy opponent.

I honestly think the Spurs will win one last ring this season...in a 7 game series I see the Spurs coming out on top..Pops paces his rotation players and Kerr has them sprinting out of the gate..it's a long season

Tony Parker has been quietly playing brilliant basketball with fresh legs and less of a scoring load. I think David West giving up millions to chase a ring was the difference maker for me...Pops knows Steve Kerr really well and vice versa...it'll be a conference finals for the ages.

I think the Spurs are the best team in the NBA.

I'm not so sure the Cavs win the eastern finals either..as constructed. They are beatable in a series. Could be a Cinderella eastern champ this season. I'd like it to be the Raptors just for those fans

Maybe. I didn't say anything one way or the other. My point is that LBJ almost carried his team in a way nobody else ever has. And adding CP3 to his efforts would make them tough.

With LBJ year-to-year, you don't have time to worry about the long-term. You go for a win now. If LBJ gets the Cavs a ring, he'll max out and stick around.
