Yep Nic is just too inconsistent to deserve that salary. He is shooting just under 35% from deep this year. (45% from 2's) I like him but he really needs to go somewhere like SA. He needs Pop to set him straight. He could be a great role player on a good team. If he came back here he would still think he should be a point forward. He just needs to be a 3 and D guy who can also pass. But IMO he gets into trouble trying to be something he is not. He is a good playmaker for a SF but not close to being as good of a playmaker as a PG. Yet he keeps being put in that type of role. It works for him in international ball, but it is not in the NBA. He needs to get paid like a role player. Which is still a lot of money.
Batum's 2nd or 3rd year here his then gf posts on twitter that instead of packing up all of Batum's stuff now that the season is over if you make a donation to his charity you can have some autographed stuff. She said be at the address in LO at this time. I go, was the 5th person in line. Just about everyone else are those weird autograph hounds/resellers. The doors open, the autograph dudes are fighting over the autographed shoes and t-shirts, I see a huge stack of Air Jordan and Adidas sweats, all never worn but all autographed. Most of the sweats were black so it was hard to see Batum's autograph. Anyway, for $20 I got 2 signed leather basketballs, 2 signed t-shirts, a signed hat, and 2 pairs of Air Jordan sweats and 2 pairs of Adidas sweats. They're all XXL which is a little big but all really comfy. The AJ stuff had retail prices of $200 for the zippered sweatshirts and $160 for the fleece pants.
Except Aminu is not a good playmaker for a SF either. Thankfully he does not try very often. Aminu does lose the ball when he attacks the basket, but at least he is trying to go to the basket. But I agree Aminu is a a role player and is getting paid like one. Now we need to find a SF who can start, so the chief can come off the bench.
I beg to differ. Good shooting form involves your entire body, from the ground up. There is also the issue of being able to move, cut and stop, to get open, get rhythm, and get your feet set, then push off. Feet matter. Ask Dame.
