I just got a phone reminder that I have an eye appointment tomorrow. It changes my whole day. It means I have to take a shower tomorrow. I've always wanted to see a rocket launch, but 2 showers in 2 weeks would be just too much.
We have a close friend who has had it for 25 years (just had a baby girl 3 years ago) and I lost a sister-in-law to it. From that limited experience my advice is you can probably control your destiny mostly by adopting a healthy diet and a happy, healthy lifestyle.
This is underrated. For many patients, the doctor doesn't know what the hell is wrong. I always feel dissatisfied after the appointment. If I'm not dying in front of him, he doesn't give a shit about my aches and pains. I know they're symptoms of something that can get worse, but if a diagnosis isn't obvious, he doesn't have the time.
As far as diet goes, I've lost about 50 lbs on the keto diet. It is a remarkably healthy diet. From what I've read the past few days, people on the diet who have lupus report great results.
Opinions vary, but there are (up to) three of him. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost. I'm an atheist, but only after studying many religions.
Sorry buddy. A friend has Lupus, and she said that stress was a huge aggravator of her symptoms. You might need to find a way to work less, relax more, and live a slower life. My friend would meditate daily in the middle of the day and try to take naps daily as well. She is doing very well except for dried cracked skin and soar wrists and ankles. I don't know if you have looked into marijuana but considering it's relaxing affects you might want to look into that. Good luck, and be your own advocate with Doctors. If you need to see 10 doctors to find the right 1, than that's what you do.
