There was absolutely no reason for Yandle to take that penalty. Had good body position and there was no reason to do what he did.

It proves this team is trash while Gorton is sitting on his ass and signs trash like Paille while useless trash Glass is still here.

Quick turn around tomorrow night. A bad Toronto team needs to be beaten.

When you have Girardi on the pk you are just asking for problems.

so what you are saying is Paille was a great signing? How long are they gonna go with this moron Paille? They brought him in to help PK. It has not worked out. He has been useless. Why is Glass still here? The fourth line is god awful and costs this team at least a point. I know what you are gonna say. Our cap is tied up so there is nothing can be done to improve this roster.

Tanner Glass played eight minutes and had nothing to do with the Rangers losing the game. It's just a constant regurgitated theme that makes no sense when there's absolutely no reason to bring him up. I never ever said Paille was a great signing so I'm not sure where you get that leap from. They have no cap room so I'm not sure who was sitting out there that you expected them to sign.

This was frankly a game where they outplayed Chicago but ended up with the loss. Obviously some bad penalties at the wrong time and Chicago buried the chances they had.

can they at least improve the fourth line? Glass and Paille make up 2/3 of our fourth line. If you cant see that, I dont know what to tell you. They are completely useless.

It would be great to have all four lines be wonderful. The reality is hardly any teams have that luxury. While he was having a rough scoring season before the injury I do wish Nash was here to help the penalty kill. Plus, he might of been benefiting from Brassard's surge. I'd say it's 50/50 that he gets back this season. This bad bone bruise crap is never positive.

When it mattered, this group has little in the way of impact players that rise to the occasion. After getting 2 on that PP you knew anything close the Rangers would get called. The game has always been refereed that way like or not- but the PK has to come up big ! The PK just f'n sucks ! The guy who is their best penalty killer, Lundqvist, came up with no big saves ! The screen shot early was a weak goal.. just too deep in net makes it easy for a screen. With Lundqvist on top of his game, he also stops that backdoor goal by Shaw. Lundqvist looked tentative and slow tonight ! Stepan awful skating ability glares brightly in a game like this against talented players...his backcheck on the 4 goal was f'n laughable.

LOL...if they cant put together at least something better than scrubs we have on the fourth line then they all should be fired. It is not like they have to bring in another super star player here.

I mention the cap space not as an excuse but as reality. They have very little ability to maneuver at the moment and I don't think rebuilding the fourth line in mid/late February is going to be the top priority.

The pentalty kill unit is just filled with too much slowness and lack of physicality.
