That supports what I said, a good bench player.

I don't see Crabbe getting over 10 mil I see Olshy trying sign Aminu type contract same with Harkless. Now Myers no telling if I was the GM I would hope someone try give a tender contract and don't match.

Bench players don't close games. He's pretty much a 6th starter for Portland. They're lucky to have a guy like him coming off the bench. He would start for a lot of teams.

$10 million is less than Aminu contract with the cap going up.

    Aminu $8mil of $70mil cap = 11.4%
    $10 mil of $108mil cap = 9.3%

    An Aminu sized contract would be $108mil x 11.4% = $12.3 million

There have already been articles about other GM's noticing Crabbe. I think he definitely gets over $10 million per year with the new salary cap.

Come on. Very few guys in the NBA are "trash". I like small ball and prefer Harkless on the floor, but I really don't understand the need for the extreme descriptions of our players.

That's what they call a 6th man, but Stotts could really give him starters minutes by playing Henderson less. He could be a starting quality player, but he'd be mediocre in that role.

I thought Hark looked really good in the pre-season and early on in the year, it looked like he was playing himself into a nice contract, then he totally dropped off.

Hark had a few good games after he was given DNPs for several games.
Mayers owns the heart of Terry Stotts, he will continue to take minutes from Hark and as a result Harkless will get shitty offers in free agency.

    Thank you Mayers!

I don't know, number one is that Stotts likes to WIN, playing Hark over Meyers sure seems to lead to more wins lately, I think Terry rides that horse as longs as it runs

It's all relative. For an NBA player, Meyers is trash. It's not like calling him trash means I think I could do better or something.

Huh? That's basketball talk. Saying someone is "trash" or "garbage" simply means you don't think he can play.

And for the record, Meyers is garbage.

By June, .when the entire NBA gets to see 3 or 4 rounds of playoffs out of our guys, they'll start getting noticed. And then they'll get paid.

I will have to disagree with you on that. We have seen a lot stiffs come through over the last 45 years, and to put Meyers in the "garbage" category is ridiculous IMO.
He may be inconsistent, he may not deserve major minutes, and he may not deserve a big contract, but he still has skills. I guarantee he will be in the league for another 10 years (Unless he gets hurt) and you don't last that long if you are worthless.

I don't get why this guys is so polarizing to Blazer fans. Was it because he was a lottery pick? I was pissed as hell when we drafted him. I wanted a SG (Jeremy Lamb) and I am still a little ambivalent about Meyers, but I do acknowledge that he turned out to be better than Lamb. Meyers can help a ball club. Just not as a starter.

For me, it's because he's annoying and goofy and he makes stupid mistakes. He has one of the most punchable faces in the league. Babbitt was polarizing too, but there wasn't nearly as much hate for him.
