I know he probably wouldn't come here anyway, but I would pick him up. This team still needs a consistent third scorer, and right now I think he'd be great for the playoff push.
Does it matter? In order to give someone from another team playing time. Someone on our team will lose minutes. Thats black and white math. I dont want any of our youngs to get less minutes while still developing... until they show they arent developing anymore and/or start regressing.
If you actually wanted a serious answer (I am not convinced you did) then the main guys that would lose minutes are Crabbe and Henderson with a little Aminu thrown in.

When we cut Frazier didn't Olshey say it was either him or Cliff? That makes me think Cliff would be the next one to be cut if we signed someone.
If the nets are cutting him there must be a reason. No one gets cut if they are a consistent proven scorer in this league unless they are washed up.
Yeah let's stunt the growth of our younger core for a "playoff push" because we're contenders. We're gonna make the playoffs, and it's going to be fun to see what we can do. But realistically, no we're not going to win the title this year.
