Went to the eye doctor last weekend, and he said my left eye has some damage at the back of the eye. Likely from uv rays. It's a mild consistent irritation. He said it's likely nothing, but wants me to come back to get pictures as a baseline. Told me I'd have to wear sunglasses whenever outside with the sun up now. Lame, I hate sunglasses. Anyone dealt with eye problems before?
I have better than perfect vision, but I have a couple beige "spots" that I see, specifically when I look at white screens. Honestly, I'm afraid to go to an ophthalmologist to find out if they're anything significant, but I know I should.
Yes! Do what you are told! Wear the sun glasses, especially on the water. Don't look at electric arcs. Usually you can not feel screwing up until it is too damn late.
I'm just gonna go back to wearing glasses all the time. Even the clear lenses have protection against uv rays.
I use f.lux on my computer and Twilight on my android phone. If you have an iPhone I'm sure there's a similar app.
I've actually considered using a patch while at work to give my left eye a break. But then I'd probably strain my other eye too much
Dyslexic me read that as electric cars. Why would looking at electric cars be bad for your eyes? Oh... arcs.
I hate white people sometimes. When I picked out my new glasses, the lady told me the new in thing are the glasses that are circular instead of rectangular. For fucks sake, I don't want anything to do with those. Give me black plastic frames all day long.
Everyone has a different face shape and glasses look different on everyone. Its fucking stupid to think one glass style would look good on anyone. I like wearing my glasses actually, as long as you get the perfect pair that looks good on you, they are good.
