One way to look at LeBron vs Curry is team fit. Can you come up with a single team that Curry wouldn't be a perfect fit on? On the other hand, LeBron's teams and teammates have really struggled to integrate him/them. He's such a unique player, he might be one of the most difficult ever to build around.

Man.... how can a guy who can legitimately play four positions and play them well, difficult to build around? That just makes no sense. The Heat nearly won three titles with him. The Cavs ALMOST won last year without Love or Irving. I think LeBron is an amazing player, and if I had a choice, I'd take LeBron over Curry.

Right? LeBron's teams have been to the last 5 NBA Finals. That's incredible.

I didn't say Curry is better than Jordan. I just said he's having a more epic regular season. Yes he'd have to string together more of these and finish them with titles to get close to Jordan.

Bosh never looked great playing with LeBron. Love often struggles. Wade had trouble the first season they were together.

I was always a strong LeBron supporter but its interesting now this year hearing all the bitching from that team. LeBron basically had his pick of personnel and trades. We've heard him repeatedly blast his teammates and complain about effort or them not taking something seriously or having bad habits.

Compare that to Dame; he doesn't ever complain about his teammates in public, there is never an issue with effort and they all enjoy playing with him. I still think LeBron is one of the top5 players ever but I'm starting to question more of his greatness than a few years ago.

Curry is amazing..the world knows that but I'd bet Oscar would've schooled him in the days before the 3pt shot and with handchecking allowed. The game has changed and the greatest perimeter defenders like Payton and Bowen would've given Curry some trouble. When Oscar got fouled, it hurt...you can't knock a guy on his ass these days and shake him up. It's like talking about American Football vs Rugby...they're related but really different games

Well sure, because like you say it was practically a different sport back then. Of course, it works the other way too: Barkley would have been the best player in the league in any era before the 3 point line and Shaq would have averaged 100 points a game before 3 in the key.

exactly which is why it's a moot point but with players talkin' about it...they have valid points..and by no means should it tarnish what the Warriors are doing in the modern era..it's never been done like this before....small ball? Now everybody plays small ball except Memphis

Heat just waived Beno Udrih...that guy has killed us when he was with the Grizz...they needed the spot to pick up Joe Johnson I guess.

There are only 24 seconds for everyone to get a touch. To expect three alpha stars to get enough chances to create is asking a lot. Someone is going to have to settle for less. It doesn't make a Bosh or Love lesser players, it just makes their #3 option ridiculously good.

Magic and Bird didn't have those issues; they made everyone better and more effective.

The problem goes deeper than that. LeBron, as great of a passer he is, is the prototypical ISO player that we always compared Roy's shortcomings to. The only complimentary offensive player to that is a spot up shooter, which basically eliminates all the star pairings that LeBron obviously craves based on his choice of teams.
