Another very great and insightful article from Quick: The rest here: http://www.csnnw.com/blazers/teacher-trail-blazers-terry-stotts-and-why-players-love-him
imo we have most improved and coach of the year on lock with lillard being a darkhorse for finals mvp
They'll probably give it to kerr if GSW wins 70+, even though he actually wasn't there for some of them.
yeah there is no denying kerr has been spectacular. i think he has under 20 losses for his career or some shit. but he's doing this with the champs, stotts is doing this with a team everyone had finishing between philly and the lakers
Itd be impressive if they used that narrative to make him COY... but I doubt that's gonna happen... It's a nice story, but unless we get a top 4 seed, I doubt they'll give it to a coach who didn't at least have "home court advantage". They are shallow people. lol.
Works for me! It sucks that's how they vote, because it's a hell of a story... but I think it's the norm far more than the exception that they just vote on wins.
Hornacek didn't even win COY the year he led that garage Suns team to 48 wins. They missed the playoffs though. Which is crazy.
yeah i thought he was a lock that year but i can accept making the playoffs being a requirement, which is what stotts is doing now
Fine Comcast... I clicked on your link... That was one of the more well written articles I've seen from our local media. Very well done.
The fact that the Warriors were equally as good under Luke Walton, and how mediocre that team looks without Curry, tells me that Curry should win COTY.
I dont know why people are sweating Kerr. Stotts could coach that team and they wouldn't miss a beat..
I honestly don't think Kerr would have Portland playing as well as they are now if he were the coach. Kerr has fine tuned the Warriors this season, Stotts has coached his fucking ass off. From a pure who has done the most and best coaching this season the award easily goes to Stotts. If coaches voted for coach of the year the award instead of sports journalists Stotts would win.
I'm glad to see guys like Kerr and Stotts having success. They seem like genuinely good guys, and their players love playing for them.
Yeah, well, when we jump into one of your articles and barely even get our toes wet, we know you are shallow. Gramps...
