Header should read: Golden State blows Jordan's Bulls Home Record Away.... Warriors top '95-96 Bulls for longest home winning streak in NBA history By Ananth Pandian | NBA writer March 8, 2016 12:57 am ET Once again, the Golden State Warrior made NBA history. By defeating the Orlando Magic 119-113 on Monday, the Warriors won their 45th straight game at home, breaking the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls' record for the longest home winning streak in NBA history. The Warriors first tied the record on Thursday with a win over the Thunder but now the historical mark solely belongs to them. Golden State is 27-0 at home this season, and will have plenty of chances to extend the record since its next six games are all at Oracle Arena. The Warriors could actually finish the season undefeated at home, which would be yet another NBA record. The Warriors could move another step closer to that mark on Wednesday against the Utah Jazz, who are 10-21 on the road.
3-pointer of season in epic fashion By Ananth Pandian | NBA writer March 8, 2016 12:35 am ET In the history of the NBA, no player has ever made 300 3-pointers in a single season. Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry changed that on Monday night. Curry already holds the record for most 3-pointers made in a single season and against the Orlando Magic on Monday, he extended that feat to the 300 mark. In true Curry fashion, No. 300 came on a deep make after he shook Magic forward Ersan Illyasova with a series of crossovers. Here are two more angles of Curry's historic three: http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on...rsan-ilyasova-drops-300th-3-pointer-of-season How amazing is 300 three-pointers in a single season? Check out this stat: The Warriors still have 20 more games left in their season so Curry will keep extending his 3-point record. Curry is averaging 5.1 made threes a game this season, so it is entirely possible for him to finish with 400 three-pointers. And if he doesn't get to 400, Curry will still hold the single-season record for most made 3-pointers. A record that perhaps only Curry can break. Mike Rosenberg ✔ @RosenbergMerc Since 2000, 27 NBA teams didn't make 300 threes in a season. Steph Curry just hit No. 300 of the year by himself. 9:16 PM - 7 Mar 2016
It is, and its been awhile for me anyway, since I could sit down and enjoy a NBA Team... I never cared much for the Phil Jackson, Shaq and Kobe, Lakers.... However those Bulls Teams were incredible to watch, as much as those Laker-Celtic Duels of the 80s....Magic vs Bird, or vice versa... But, I still think those Celtics from 57-87 were perhaps the best team(s) to ever take the floor....
Other than the Celtics 3 decades of infamy, even John Wooden's UCLA Bruins with 10 National Titles in 12 years, could not break the Celtics 8 in a row. The Bruins and Wooden pulled down 7 in a row, but then were talking NBA vs NCAA, .....
