I am no longer undecided. Using the process of elimination, I have found the best, and possibly the only, person that should be our next president. It was a painful process, however, sometimes the answer is right in front of us, and we do not see it. Our country needs a good negotiator. Someone that can bring all sides together and make everyone feel like they have gained something in the deal. To accomplish this, our next president must be open-minded and understand all sides of the issues. He must be able to clearly express his thoughts. He must surround himself with quality hard workers whiling to forget party politics. He must have integrity, and admit when he makes a mistake. He must have the patience to consider every option before making a decision, and not be influenced by outside politics/pressure or media. The best person to be our next president is Neil Olshey. I will be writing in his name.
Do you think he will continue running the Blazers while he's running the country? Are you telling me that you'd give up our best chance to win a title any time in the next decade in order to have someone competent in the White House?
I love when people say they wont vote for a third party because they have no chance. Like if you dont vote for the winner you miss out on a cookie or something. This is why I dont vote. It's a glorified national popularity contest and the average American knows jack shit about who they vote for they just want that validation of picking the winner. I'm not going to subject myself to the stupidity.
If you don't vote you have NO right to complain about SHIT. Unfortunately you have to work within the system to change it... ijs.... Bottom line, our Plurality voting is flawed. Without IRV voting, it's true, you are voting for someone who has no chance and your vote doesn't really count. If we voted this way it would be different:
Actually i have every right to complain. Much like your sister Rosa Parks refused to go to the back of the bus, I refuse to check the box.
Meh... She COULDN'T vote. And SHAME on you for comparing yourself to her. The fact that you say "your sister" makes SlyPokerDog sound like an ass....
Right now, it's looking like Trump vs. HlLIARy in the fall. If that comes to pass, I'll either be voting for a 3rd party candidate, if someone enters the ring as an independent, or doing a write-in.
Depends on if the joke is funny. See we're supposed to make fun of racism. Not emulate it. Comparing yourself to Rosa Parks and then saying "your sister" to me simply because I'm black isn't that...
