    I just think it's Damian's pride. He insists to keep playing. That's just his personality. Dudes a warrior. Coach can't just tell the player to sit out. If he wants to play, he's gonna play. What can you do.

    Look, if this year's play is any indication, the pick is lost. You're either losing it this year or next. If the Blazers make the playoffs in any one of these two seasons, it's gone. We would have to miss the playoffs for two straight seasons for it to turn into two second rounders. Sure, you might convey a slightly lower 1st rounder next year, but why focus on something so trivial? This year's draft is not even anything special.
