It was a message game from the NBA; Golden State shot 8 free throws all night, while Minnesota shot 36.

I don't see them winning at SAS, which sucks because I want them going for 73 wins so they won't rest anyone against MEM.

Blazers have as many titles as Curry.

I assume they'll still want 72 to tie Bulls.

No doubt. That's the next best thing to owning the record outright.

They won't get it though. They're an average great team. Nothing special. I mean, the 07 Mavs won 67 of their last 78 regular season games. These Warriors aren't much better.

Glad to see this; that was such a douchy move by an owner. Good owners know their role are to be the silent boss in the background who defer praise. Just as you'd never want a coach saying "I'm responsible for my players getting this win and deserve some of the credit." It might be true but it should never be said.

The Spurs are a fluky Memphis win from controlling their destiny for the #1 seed!

They certainly won't rest anyone if they can tie the 72 win mark. Now if they can only get 71 maybe they do.

I hope Houston plays Golden State in round 1. I've watched a lot of Houston as I enjoy rooting against them more than any team in the league. The funny thing with them is their actually very effective in a slow half court game. See it in their comebacks; team with the lead slows the pace but Harden still scores in the half court. Houstons shitty transition defense is actually really stout in the half court. If they didn't have Morey pushing his analytic ball and had an old fashion defensive coach maybe they'd have a respectable record.

If Iggy is still out Houston could give the Warriors a series. Utah is the other team with a chance to do something. I don't want to see Dallas or Memphis play them.

Houston losses their pick if they make the playoff; it's a more costly loss than ours because their pick debt is only for this season whereas we'd lose next years pick if we keep this years. It would be great to see Houston have this terrible season and get bounced in round 1. Seeing the Warriors choke a series as a 1 seed would be great too; either way I'd be happy.

Iggy played tonight. I'd rather Dallas play GS. They have unfinished business from 2007. Didn't Houston get swept in WCF? I don't need to see that again. Utah will be just happy to be there. Memphis would be David vs Goliath.

When I become Biff in Back to the Future II, I will bet a lot of money that the Warriors will lose at home on the same day that the Sixers win, because I bet I could get pretty good odds on that.

The Wolves are going to draft Skal this summer, and complete their all young stud starting lineup. Lavine/Shabazz/Wiggins/Skal/Towns. That's your 2019 NBA champ right there.

Skal is 3 years away from being 3 years away.

But yeah they have the most young talent in the league. If I'm a coach without a job thats my #1 target. If Thibs didn't have history of grinding players into dust I'd grab him. Maybe they go for Luke Walton instead. If Indiana gets rid of Vogul I'd hire him. Monty Williams will probably be another top name. I bet he looks to go to a new city eventually. Maybe he never coaches again though he's a widowed dad with 5 kids. The Wolves will get another high draft pick. If they get a top 3 pick? Wiggins or Ingram would be nuts. Insane talent probably above our Roy/Oden/LMA trio. The west won't lose a finals until 2024.

If Luke Walton really is all he's touted to be, that would just be unfair, although I think him in LA coaching the Lakers just makes too much sense. Kevin Ollie at Connecticut is getting a lot of run lately as well; I wouldn't be surprised to see him make the jump to the NBA soon. What would really be crazy would be the Wolves giving David Blatt the chance to coach a team without a prima donna superstar calling the shots and undermining him the whole time.

    I am afraid of Minnesota.

KAT is like, really, really good. Drives and shoots like a guard but plays defense like a giant Kawhi Leonard. He looks better than Anthony Davis when I get to watch him. He's pushing being a top 10 player in the league.....as a 20 year old rookie. If that doesn't scare you I don't know what will.

Not really that impressed with Wiggins, but he's got value and he's young and super athletic. He can turn into a great second banana.

Yeah Blatt should be a high choice. Great basketball mind. He struggled with the ego's and personalities of the NBA. But with a young team there really isn't an issue there. Would be awesome to see him have more success than LeBron next year.

If I was a coach with options I'd run like hell from the Lakers. The Knicks have way more talent, not that they're a great destination either. The Lakers may be the worst job though; they have so many holes on their roster and so many expectations of making the playoffs. Before the season and training camp tons of their fans thought they'd fight for the playoffs. Yes the same roster that is dead last in the west right now. People bet millions of dollars on them to win the title. If they draft a 19 year old, a couple middle tier free agents, then fans and management will expect the same again. Funny enough our success will put pressure on a lot of those franchises because they'll say 'why don't you get back in the playoffs with 4 new starters as the Blazers did?'
