Yeah I would take KAT over Anthony Davis for sure. Now if Davis always played 82 games it could be a debate. I still might even take KAT though. But with Davis injuries it's an easy decision. If I was starting a team today not many players I'm taking ahead of him. Probably Curry because he's 28 and should age well. Think I would take Kawhi next. Then its probably KAT. Maybe Durant is above him. Paul George rounds out my top5.

Will be very interested to see what Minnesota does in a few years.

I've only seen each play a handful of times, but I too am far more impressed by KAT than Davis. I would LOVE it if we could somehow get him on our team.

Unfortunately, David Kahn is no longer the MIN GM. He had some weird obsession for former/current Blazer players.

Crazy because Duncan was a 22 year old 4 year college senior.

Towns came in as a 19 year old one and done freshman.

KAT was the best low post player I'd seen in college in years. I think I might have even compared him to Duncan. I'm still shaking my head that anyone questioned his readiness for the NBA. I didn't expect him to have such good range so soon, however.

It's Minnesota, they'll find a way to spectacularly mess it all up and never live up to the hype.

Yeah I dunno; if they never win a title but get to multiple conference finals did they 'mess it up'? It's rare any team out there wins a title so if thats the case its a crazy bar to set. You can say every team is going to mess it up and 97% of the time you'll be right.

I still can't believe Minny got Wiggins for Love. They had no leverage. He was a UFA going into the next offseason. They were going to lose him for nothing. Cleveland is stupid as hell.

Still a great move by Cleveland; it was a condition to getting LeBron. Even underperforming Love has a lot of trade value; Boston would give up Brooklyn picks plus some nice pieces for him. A third team would send vets back to Cleveland.

Two days after he was on the Lowe Post podcast. Hahaha. I listened to half of it and he was just totally brutual to listen to. Part of being an NBA GM is selling your vision to fans, viewers, and players around the league.

With the amount of assets the Sixers have now, a competent GM could turn them around rather quickly.

Hinkie was good at getting assets, just was a shitty talent evaluator.

    No kidding right?

This man ran a top 10 offense for two years around posting up a big man who refused to use his post moves. Now, this year he's running a top 10 offense that's on pace to break the NBA record for least post up points in a season.

I'll take "Terry Stotts, Offensive Genius" for $2,000, Alex.

Something I wish Neil would've done with LMA.

I'm not high on Wiggins at all but KAT will be at least as good as KG.

Yup. The writing was the on the wall, and he should have been traded. Supposedly Golden State was interested. Could you imagine if we would have been able to pry Klay and Draymond away from them? The rumor at the time was either Klay/Lee or Barnes/Lee for LMA.

Hell, I would've taken 1+19+Tristan Thompson in hindsight.

In super hindsight, we could have just picked up 1+19 and drafted Antetokoumpo, CJ and Gobert.

    In super hindsight.
