Do you remember the blaze? We were still down so much but the crowd just went fucking nuts it was so great. It really felt like we willed roy to take over.
I don't but that obviously doesn't mean it didn't happen. I was so in my own head during that game, I barely noticed a lot of things until a minute to go in the third.
I was also at this game. Awesome win! Quit chopping Onions!!! Wait. I lied. Delete post. I thought it was the Dallas game this year.
Yeah me my buddy and his bro were there, when roy hit that diving 4 point play everyone around us may as well have been best friends. High fives, hugs, kisses, minor dick rubbing, crowd surfing, shit was nuts. We sat there till security told us we had to leave, we knew life wouldnt get better, savor the moment.
I remember clearly the baseline three, as he received the ball I said, "Roy, take us home." BANG! KA-POW! That was the most intense sports experience I've attended, because everyone in the building, everyone on the court, everyone watching on TV knew that Roy was grinding himself to powder in front of our eyes.
Yeah I turned to my buddy and yelled "brandon fucking roy" at the top of my lungs but I couldn't even hear myself. I cant imagine being at .09 I was watching in a hotel in Ogden. I stopped there to watch the game cause it felt right. I take full credit for lillards heroics on that one too.
