What a snoozefest.. If only NBA teams were more even... They need to find a way to even out teams with the new CBA.
It takes over a year for most athletes to really get their explosiveness back after blowing an achilles. If they get it back at all.
Which also happens to be the average age of the players on their roster. Coincidence? I think not! BNM
Dirk should yell at everyone in the locker room and fire them up. 40+ loss doesn't happen to a hardworking team. They didn't fight.
At this point there are 3 or 4 teams in the west who DID NOT make the playoffs, but probably still would have shown up better than Dallas today. Absolutely embarrassing for the Mavs and their fans.
He is always awful in the playoffs. That's the real reason OKC traded him. He disappeared in 2012 Finals.
Absolutely horrible match up for DAL. They have a ton of PGs (and that's just Felton), but not a single one that can come close to guarding Westbrick. They have their choice of a midget, a fat ass or one of two grandfathers. Same with KD. Not that Chandler Parsons is All-Defense, but without him, they don't have anyone who can come close to guarding Durant. Look for both Westbrick and Durant to average about a point a minute in this series. You may also see Billy Donovan pull a Popovich and actually rest his starters in a playoff series - and still pull off the sweep. OKC basically got a first round bye. They will sweep the Mavs, with their starters playing limited minutes and have about a week off between the 1st and 2nd rounds. BNM
A 21 per average in the playoffs is not awful. He actually played very well in the playoffs last year. Learn the game eric. Then post.
Nah, they were tanking for a lottery pick. Don't you know it's the conventional wisdom that you're better off missing the playoffs so you can add an unproven 20-year old to your already too young and inexperienced roster? Getting that 14th pick will make them contenders in no time. BNM
