I'm gonna be honest... I've watched It's always sunny several times to try to get into it... and I guess it's like Arrested Development for me... I could never find the humor in it. I have quite an eclectic sense-of-humor... but those two shows never appealed to me.

All those teams made some pretty big gambles though. Mavs traded Harris who looked like he might be a budding star for an aging Kidd and then don't forget there biggest acquisition was hiring Carlise in 08 and then trading nothing for Tyson Chandler.
Spurs made a trade for Leonard which at the time was seen as a gamble since no one knew Leonard would blossom into the player he is otherwise there is no way he goes 14th. Warriors are the warriors and the trade for Love looks like a great turn down now but if they only win one championship are people still thinking the same thing in 5 years?
Swinging for the fences isn't a great strategy especially in some cases but I don't mind it because of how hard championships are to get and how often one of a few things happens can screw up a team for years just as much as missing on your swing can do as well. I'm just saying I don't mind it at all and get why teams do it, infact I wont' even bash on a team if they think they had a shot and took it.

I'll bash the hell out of the rockets. They were just dumb.

As far as GSW... winning a 'ship and then getting 73 wins is already gonna cement them. The league will do all it can to get them the 'ship this year, too. The narrative has to happen.

Swinging for the fences puts you in purgatory longer than re-tooling, I think. Because most of those swings involve draft picks (like brooklyns case) or tied up money (Houston with Bosh, etc.)

Watermelon flavor I guess is ok. But I certainly don't fit the stereotype. I hate real watermelon.

Brooklyn is a bad example because that wasn't' swinging for the fences that was just plain flat dumb. As for Houston they only lost Parsons because of the Bosh thing, Parsons doesn't' make there team much better then they are now especially with how injured he has been. Houston is in trouble because of Harden and to a lesser extent Howard.

First time I ever had watermelon juice was on vacation in Mexico when I was a kid. It changed my life!

This stuff is really good, but a bit pricey

The only ones who thought they were swinging for the fences was themselves lol.

Houston I cannot understand its just so... so awesome. Clutchfans tears are still so sweet even years later.

I've gotten it in packs at Costco. I've also seen them sold individually at stores but I can't remember where it was. It might have been Fred Meyers in their little organic section.

If I'm ever down about life, I just remember that I'm not a Houston Rockets fan of the last 5 years. Best medicine ever.

I think white people made up the stereotype that black people like watermelon because they liked watermelon and just wanted to look like they were down - co-opting culture through the dissemination of false stereotypes.
