Not my usual film, but I watched the movie Spy with my wife. Main character is played by Melissa McCarthy, who I developed a respect for.

Only took a few minuets before I found my self saying how cleaver the writing was.

I enjoyed Spy as well. Melissa McCarthy is great, and the dudes in the film were great sports about the whole thing as well.

Yeah...I really got a kick out of the dialogue between the off the ranch wacko and Melissa. Some very funny stuff.

The nerd in me cannot wait to see the Warcraft movie. Anyone who has played a Warcraft game knows just how much character story or "lore" there is. I think this has potential to be a movie that will be enjoyed even by those with no interest in the game series.

I like Tina Fey, but I remember this one seeming too "typical?".

I like unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix which is a show written by Tina Fey, starring Ellie Kempler.

Started this, it's pretty entertaining. I'll finish it but I don't know if it will be in one go.

I can't tell if this movie is partially like Borat where some of the people don't really get exactly what is going on. It seems like that's the case at times, could just be well scripted.

Edit: As this movie goes on this seems more and more the case. Which makes the movie even more entertaining.

What a strange ending to that movie. I feel like if could have been a lot funnier than it ultimately was. However a decent flick and wasn't disappointed.

I guess I missed it when it was out but Madagascar 3 in 3d was fantastic. The movie wasn't perfect but it was entertaining and looked and sounded incredible. The bear love story was hilarious.

Pixels. There, I said it. Had two mixed drinks and watched it in 3d on a big screen.

Run All Night, a well done yet typical Liam Neeson gangster movie. Entertaining popcorn muncher.

I just watched a documentary last night called Going Clear: Scientology (there was more to the title, but that's the gist of it). Absolutely phenomenal documentary. Riveting from the first moment to the last. It's a must watch if you're into the psychology of how religion gains it's following, and with this religion in particular, how celebrities get ensnared. It has a few of the ex-members and what they have gone through during and after being in the Scientology program.

Def. in my top 3 of documentaries.

Free HBO this week so I finally sat down and watched Mad Max: Fury Road. Not usually my genre but I loved it. Filthy, bald and with half an arm, Charlize Theron is still amazingly hot. One of the most entertaining movies I've seen in quite awhile.....
