    Rubio-Wiggins-KAT is deadly. You have strong defenders on the perimeter, wings, and at the rim. Then you add Thibs' maniacal schemes and work ethic.

    Meh, the league has done plenty. The most recent CBA stressed parity, but probably the best first round in recent history happened just two years ago before the new CBA was completely integrated.

    In 2014:
    1-8 IND-ATL matchup went 7 games.
    3-6 TOR- BKN matchup went 6 games.
    1-8 SAS-DAL matchup went 7 games.
    2-7 OKC-MEM matchup went 7 games.
    3-6 LAC-GSW matchup went 7 games.
    4-5 HOU-POR matchup went 6 games.

    This year is just off because of GS/SA's dominance over the rest of the league. And let's not forget that their creation has been an indirect function of the league stressing parity.
