Don't bullshit. If you really got a burnt biscuit award that would ALMOST be on par with my Smile Winner (true story). Did that really happen?
I was a Smile Winner on Ramblin Rod in the late 70s...... won a t-shirt and a case of pop from The Poppe-Shoppe! And I did get a BB Award. It was a video clip of me working it on the big screen during a pre season game. The two anchors were trying to do the robot like the HCP when they came back on camera. I'll find the tape around here somewhere!
Pikers. Nothing but a pair of pikers. My brother won the Deputy Dawg Drawing Contest and was featured (with his brothers) on the Rusty Nails Show. They awarded him an M&M Gun, a Funny Face Popcycle Maker and a buttload of Archway Cookies. I'm still proud by proximity...........and whatever happened to Ed Whalen??
I think Ed Whalen sued the network for letting him go. Edit: Hmmm, maybe this didn't happen, trying to see if I can find a link confirming this.
I won the smile contest too. and another event on the next break too some kind of drop a fork in a bottle game
