So the fuck what? I lost my job. It was a big deal. It was extremely hurtful and depressing. I'm saying maybe you should be more sensitive to the fact that calling someone a racist is MORE OFFENSIVE than calling someone Frenchie.

You don't seem to understand that, with how often you call people racists on this forum.

I'm older than you Nate. Not by much but by bit. Don't ask me silly questions that you already know the answer to. The bottom line is your instance with the Lifeguard has nothing to do with saying disparaging things about another demographic of people. You regularly complain in here about it being to PC and how you hate that our country is going that route. We're going to pull you along kicking and screaming and you're just going to have to fucking deal with it. Because one day you might come to the realization that that particular term is disparaging. Do you still use the term Gypped or Welched? If not, why don't you?

Asking if I still use gypped or welched implies that I ever used those terms. Did you use those terms?

I like to say screwed.... can I say screwed, or does that offend you?

The only person in here that I've called racist is MarAzul. No one else in here has gotten that label from me. I might have said the post was racist, but not the person. Sorry you lost your job over that bullshit. That's pretty fucked up. Somebody played the race card and won.
What you should understand is that not everyone that is complaining about race isn't playing that card but you operate like they are. That in itself is a card that you are playing.

You're always on the wrong side when it comes to this. Conflating the issue with situations that don't match with what my argument is. My argument is and always has been that we should not group a demographic of people together and say that they are all one way. Regardless if it's race, nationality or whatever it's all akin racism and that's what I will call it. There's no reason to argue semantics by saying that Muslims or French aren't a race.

You however, will continuously come in here and argue against showing respect for people by not using certain vernacular that has been deemed offensive. You should check yourself on that.

Stop wasting your posts. Post something of substance. And yes I did use those terms at one point in my life but when I found out that they were derogatory I changed my vernacular..... Novel idea...

I stopped using the term "Drink the kool aide" once I learned what it was referring to.

Who deems that Frenchie is offensive? You did.

You're not French. Do I get to deem what's offensive to black people? Do I get to deem what's offensive to Muslims?

Yank was supposed to be offensive to Americans. Many Americans wear the term proudly. Using "racism" as a catch-all for discrimination against religion or nationality is a horrible horrible horrible choice.

I despise Rocket fans. That's a demographic of people. Call me closed minded, but I can't stand their fans. Period. That's not racism, is it? But by your strange definition of what racism is, I'm being racist. There is a definition for racism. It's in the dictionary. That word carries a lot of emotions and power. You need to recognize that and stop throwing it about like it doesn't mean anything. You should check YOURself on that.

I can admit that I did. Can you? You're from the same generation as me.

When I found out my cousin was gay I said that maybe if he hung around him more he wouldn't be... like I was so manly that I was manly enough for my manly Essence to be absorbed by another to stave off the gay....

    See how ridiculous that sounds?

Natebishop arguing while sitting atop his dais of privilege.

This post has absolutely no substance. Ask a French person whether or not they believe that term is derogatory. Ever been to France? I have. I've been speaking French since 7th grade. I used to babysit for my French teacher who was French. Use your Goddamn brain for once when you post. Again you're arguing semantics. You tend to do this and get all flustered when the topic steers into discrimination issues.

You can't handle it. Your the only one I here getting butthurt about it and it's always you. You don't even know if the term is derogatory but you will argue against it. Typical Nate.

Why? The actions are exactly the same. I would argue that saying "it's not racist because I'm only talking about a nationality or religion" makes someone sound out of touch...

Ha! This party was already well underway by the time I got here. You dropped that bomb on Schilly and you were arguing with multiple people. Don't make this out like I started this shindig.

You don't know me. Quite frankly, I think you are one of the most racist people on this forum. You constantly make comments about white people and generalizations about people you perceive to be white.

    You know whats crazy?

The term Indian Giver. Its meant as a slight against native Americans for not keeping their word.

The fucked up part about it is it was the white man who didn't keep their promise to the Indians. IT was the white Euro infiltration that screwed the Indians over, yet we use the term as a slight.

Pretty disgusting really how we could actually flip it around like that.

Of course you do. Those who experience white privilege and don't recognize it consistently have this attitude that racism effects them.

Right?? Another term I grew up using and took out of my vernacular. Why? Well we know why. I'd wager to say Nate knows why too.

Schilly and I already did. Nate (a moderator who breaks forum rules) refuses to.
