There is absolutely no reason for Girardi to have Headley in the lineup at this point. The guy is batting 140, is 2 for his last 27, has not driven in a run since the 3rd game of the season & has no extra base hits on the year. Why would you intentionally put an AUTOMATIC out in your lineup. Enough is enough.

He should be sent to the minors. Absolutely anybody is better at this point. Just play Torreyes.

His job isn't to cover Cashmans ass due to a crappy roster....his job is to win games with the best players available.

If I have to hear once more time that the hitters will come around
since they are getting men on base......it's only a question of time.

Operative word here is time. Are we talking a few days, a couple
of weeks, next month (which BTW is tomorrow), or
sometime in the summer or next year! This "bump in the
road" may take a while. Geeeeeeeez.

If Headley is in the lineup tonight Ron (59) needs to cut Girardi a new asshole.

You know things are pretty f'ked up when A-Rod is hitting 50 points higher than Headley & he's STILL hitting under 200.

so much for a quick start by both....

If this were the Kentucky Derby, both would be shot...

Will Headley lead the league in errors once again, (and hit .150)...? It's gonna' be a long climb...

    Tonight's lineup.....

    CF - Ellsbury (247)
    LF - Gardner (269)
    RF - Beltran (250)
    1B - Teixeira (233)
    DH - A -Rod (194)
    C - McCann (242)
    2B - Castro (304)
    SS - Gregorius (231)
    3B - Headley (140)

MAJOR! shake up by Girardi, he flipped Gregorius & Headley in the lineup. DAMN!!! this must mean a win.

The Yankees call up 3b Drew Bridges from the Riverdogs and was added to the 40 man roster as per Yankees.Com. Time for Headley to take a seat. :bgrin:
