Yeah his three needs work but I think he will always be an elite defender, his footwork and body control is just crazy good.

Possibly. I wonder if his back will hold up as he gets closer to 40. I think it might limit his defensive ability.
With the medical advancements that have been made in the past 10 years I assume he's already working on maximizing his health. So maybe not.

It's also a little crazy to think how close LaMarcus supposedly was to signing with the Suns. Can you imagine how different their season turned out to be compared to what they thought it could have been when they had a chance to sign him?

I don't think it depends on the money at all. The guy is rich beyond belief. He makes way more from endorsements than he does from his salary.

I think it depends on what he wants his legacy to be. Not so much individual achievements, although those will come if he pays long enough. I think it's all about the rings. If he ends up in a situation like Tim Duncan where he starts every season with a reasonably realistic shot at another title, he'll keep playing s long as he can. He only has two rings so far. Duncan and Kobe has 5 and MJ 6. I bet LeBron would LOVE to retire with at least 7.

He might do the sports equivalent of Miles Davis, always hanging out with the cool young players, making sure to feed on their energy while leading and contributing. Some of his best work (Miles Davis) came while being a contributor in his "second quintet" that was basically an incubator for young legends, twenty years after Miles got his start in the industry. He kept doing that into the 80's.

Mentioning something that gets a response from Barfo always makes me think of the "wafer thin mint."

I think Lebron would welcome someone to take some of the pressure off him.

Yeah he's extremely rich. But it's also been reported that he wants to be the first billionaire athelete. I don't think he's there yet.
Who knows if MJ or Mayweather already beat him to the punch. Not I.

I've read news reports that his Nike deal is based on a cut of profits from his signature line; if he wants more from that deal he has to stay relevant, and that means rings.

According to my sources, mediocre man's sources are legit sources. I cannot unfortunately divulge the identity of my sources because if I did, not only would my sources no longer be sources, they would no longer be friends. In mediocre man's case, his sources would also likely no longer be employed.

Haha. It may seem like this, but I am very much the other. If you think I really left in anger or spite or something you don't know me. :) I had a shitload of yard work to get done before the rain came is all. I'm a very busy man with many projects in my very happy life. I have a great time sensationalizing things here I suppose, but I usually only do it in reaction to the off base comments here. I find it funny when people say things like I take this place too serious or I'm excitable. It's very much the opposite. Most of the time i'm on here is when I'm at work and if I was actually all upset, I wouldn't be able to do such a kick ass job that I do do at work. :) I'm simply playing the drama game that OI already see so many people play around here like yourself. I think maybe I just play a little rougher than some care for is all. Oh well. If ya cant take the heat then stay out of the kitchen ya know?
With that said, I never mean to insult anyone personally, but don't mind the back and forth that happens at times. Its entertainment for me when I'm at work is all.

In the last 24 hour hours, I have purchased 70 cubic yard of soil, spread and compacted it, then smoothed, seeded, fertilized and watered it all in three different spots in my yard. I just finished and am about to start working on backing vox to the long overdue album Swil is trying to put out.
Excitable? Yes, about life. Life is great. I think everyone should be more exited about live. Most people would find they accomplish more in their lives if they were. :) Excitable on here? Nah. Just having fun man. :)
