I don't see Tunchi as a troll or as a bad Blazer fan. He's obviously a fan of basketball in general and he does make some relevant points along the way. He just tends to easily annoy the more homer-esque fans by being contrary. He's entitled to his opinion, just as we all are. I don't find his opinions about Dame any more tiring or predictable than the constant (endless) "trade for Boogie" or "trade CJ" or "Meyers sucks" rants. I kinda sorta thought this board existed for discussions, rants and (preferably respectful) arguments. What the hell else is there to discuss now that the season is over??? I am mostly a life long SF Giants fan but my two absolute all time favorite players were Tony Gwynn (Padres) and Willie Stargell (Pirates). That doesn't make me a shitty Giants fan, it makes me a knowledgeable and open minded (IMHO) baseball fan. This board needs the Tunchis of the world to keep the rest of us honest. I think some of you guys need to lighten up on the abuse, especially the tag team stuff. It would be one effing boring (and short lived) message board if all of us were always on the same page.......

Except we've had fans from the Minnesota fanbase come on here masquerading as Blazer fans in the past. It's not a new thing. It has happened before.

Tunchi has a Minnesota IP. Fine. It's not completely inconceivable that he could be a Blazer fan living in Minneapolis. The problem is that his attacks on Lillard are illogical. They smack of trolling. He says things that he knows will rile up the fans, and he disappears when Dame is playing really well.

Maybe he's not the guy that posts an Oden dick pick, but he could absolutely be the guy who plays the long con.

    We all make relevant points.

And Tunchi and others do have discussions. It's when someone has been proven hypocritical and doesn't own up to it that people have the issue with. And that is neither a homer or contrarian, that's just being wrong.

An opinion is an opinion, yes. But when your opinion is proven to have the same flaws as the opinion your AGAINST, that's where the issue resides.

Tunchi has proven to have some smarts. So I know he has it in him to realize a simple hypocrisy, and own up to it.

I'm a huge Blazer fan. I always admit when I'm wrong

You owned me with the Lowry stats. Good job again.

But RIGHT NOW id take Lowry is all I'm saying. He's a much better defender as well. But obviously Lillard is younger so I get that.

Besides who cares this is a basketball forum. Can't we just shoot the shit instead of kicking each other down?

I can't believe people spend so much time arguing about Tunchi. Tunchi and Kingspeed are opposite sides of the same coin - you can't take either of them seriously, but occasionally they'll say something level-headed and reasonable.

    Defending yourself is fine.

But do you see the hypocrisy in your faults with Lillard that you are ignoring in Lowry (Which are the same)? That's all I'm sayin'. It seems you have never owned up to it.

It just seems weird you would want one over the other but they have the same exact flaw, yet you want Lillard for his leadership and intangibles, but keep saying Lowry is better. I agree with Jfizz that the gap is close, but for this team, Lillard is the best fit (and better)... I mean, we are building the team around him. I don't think you can build a team around Lowry.

Maybe I'm more confused than anything else.

Yep. Which is why its hilarious when people want to ban so and so poster. If they wanted to ban a negative poster, id have to argue they should ban certain positive ones too. Its ridiculous. Just ignore them if they bother you.

    Hey, I'm not mad.

To be fair, you do kick others when they are down too. You're not immune.

Well, considering Kingspeed has admitted to trolling in the past, just to get a reaction, I don't think it's really a good comparison if you're trying to support Tunchi as an authentic blazer fan.

There is a long long history of some in this group wanting certain posters banned ever since the bbf days. This has happened over a decade.

I think overall, there's only been 2 "Blazer fans" banned. PapaG (Who actually is a blazer fan) and MIXUM... did I miss anyone? I don't count other teams' trolls.

There were a couple that came over from other sites. I don't remember their names because I didn't ban them.

I was thinking strictly Blazers fans.

Oh right, Blazer Fanatic a couple years ago!

I was thinking of more established posters, I guess.

I know S2 is but a few years old, so I don't have the BBF knowledge.

I don't see Tunchi faking like he's going to get lawyers to shut down a website. I actually quite like Tunchi.
