Here's a voting breakdown if you care: http://official.nba.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2016/05/2015-16-All-NBA-Teams.pdf Mike Fratello of TNT gave Aldridge a first team vote. He also voted Pau Gasol first team Center. Dude needs his ballot removed next year.
Way to go Dame! How did Alfridge get 3 first team votes? Assuming LeBron had to be in there, 3 people thought he was better than Durant, Leonard, and Green? In order of voting: Horford, Whiteside, and Howard. 3 centers that received votes will be available this summer. This should be a fun summer!
Things I noticed: 9 of the 10 on the first or second team are in the West, with Lebron the only East rep. It appears that someone had Curry as the only guard on the first team on their ballot. Curry has 129 1st team votes, Westbrook 120, Paul 8....and that's it for guards. Even if Pau Gasol and Anthony Davis were considered centers, only 90 first team votes went to centers. So 29 voters didn't have a center on their first team. If positions are that fluid, shouldn't Durant have been a first-teamer over Deandre?
On top of that @yuyuza1 , Marv Albert of TNT also voted Pau Gasol 1st team center. TNT is not bright.
Perhaps those voters hold themselves to stricter positional voting, picking a SF, PF, and C. Except none of them picked a SG, so...never mind. Maybe they voted for Aldridge as their center?
Only downside is Dame is on a team with Draymond Green. More sad for GSW, they were so sure Klay Thompson would be first team.
Jim Barnett CSN Bay Area had Lebron and Steph as his first team guards. (Kawhi/KD as forwards, and Draymond as his C). Dude. No rules.
I read on Bleacher Report (take it with a grain of salt) that AD will lose 24mil on his contract after missing all three all NBA teams.
