Well the superstars we'll sign still have games to play so we need some cheap roster players..the Cavs are going to be the first team to get to the finals and blow it up off season
The Blazers working out players do not a rumor make. There have been years when we worked out 30 players - is not 30 rumors? No, it's zero.
Former Sixers guard Pierre Jackson will work out this week at the Knicks‘ free agent mini-camp, and is lined up to work out for the Trail Blazers and Mavericks later this month, sources tell Ian Begley of ESPN.com.
He played at College of Southern Idaho. We played them last year. He got a lotta love up on their wall.
I see why they want take a look Henton looks like poor man Harden. There already looking third string back up point they bring in Buyck and Jackson both scoring type of point guards. There looking for summer league players and see if one of them can make the roster next year.
I think any player that Olshey is bringing in is something worth talkin' about...doesn't matter how we define it, it's actually the scouts doing what they're paid to do....first result for Blazers rumors this morning because I'm sick of talkin' about the Warriors around here
Tells me Brian Roberts might not be re-signed or they're lookin' at the possibility of needing a backup plan at SF as well..that's my take on it all. And this was the entire point of this thread! Something is happening for real in the off season...for me, that rocks!
If he's who I think he is, Pierre Jackson is one of the best NBDL players ever, a gifted scorer from all ranges though small even for a PG. I would love it if we sign him. He is an amazing player, somehow never made it in the league so far but an amazing player nonetheless
And I was thinking of writing a book about how boring basketball is. New players..change in general...really turns me on. I like change. So I've noticed Buycks for years because I kick the computer everytime I try to pronounce his name. Just use his nickname. Now, I look at Fuycks' stats in D-League, Europe, and NBA and notice that in each of Fuycks' 5 pro years, Fuycks played few games. Is Fuycks injury-prone? Maybe Fuycks's better than his stats say due to injuries, and Olshey's taking a look to see whether he should take a gamble.* Olshey's thinking, if Fuycks gets hardly any minutes for us as our 5th guard, maybe Fuycks'll make it through the season without injuries, like Kaman in 2015-16. *Or maybe Olshey's simply filling out the Summer League roster with a bench to rest the starters: C Alexander PF Vonleh SF Montero SG Connaughton PG Roberts
Speak for yourself. I was never that desperate. I played varsity basketball for god's sake. I was banging cheerleaders (still am - the same one as a matter of fact). BNM
I know, right. I'm the basketball version of Al Bundy. Only my cheerleader is way hotter than Peg. I have no idea what she sees in me. BNM
