The thing that gets me is that he couldn't get it going somehow means he wasn't going to rape her.

You clearly haven't been following the trend.

You yourself admitted that you have experienced sexual encounters where you were intoxicated, and by the next morning you were regretful for the experience.

By the new definitions of rape, you could turn around and claim that you were drunk and did not give consent. The DA said as much. Drunk means no. What constitutes drunk? That was what Plat was talking about. He's not even talking about the original case anymore. He's talking about the role of alcohol in determining consent.

Plat's point was: what constitutes "drunk" by the definition that the DA put forth? If both parties are drunk, can one later change their mind and say that they did not give consent? Could you have turned around in the morning and decided that you did not give consent in those experiences where you regretted your actions the next morning?

Can you read? Or do only the words that fit your narrative enter your brain??

Thanks for admitting you didn't really read my post

So yeah. Fuck them. Again, you must not have read my post. Otherwise you wouldn't be inadvertently defending white male Christian racists.

And you didn't answer my questions. Wanna give it a shot? :dunno:

Also, no one said you think racism doesn't exist (reading really is fundamental).

I said you don't think white privilege exists. Which is true. You get pissed every time it's mentioned.

Probably the reason you didn't answer my questions...

Muhammed Ali came back from beating the communists in the Olympics. While wearing his medal he goes to eat downtown. He was told we don't serve niggers. That's when he fully understood how fucked this country is to black folk.

OJ is broke and in prison.

    Kobe settled out of court.

What happened to Wesley Snipes? What happened to Tyson for his 3 am booty call? What happened to Tupac? You don't really believe he sexually abused her do you? It's Pac! He always professed his innocence. It could've happened but I don't believe it. What happened to TI? Prison. What happened to Lauren Hill? Lil Kim? Money didn't help her. Money didn't help Da Brat. She got 3 years for assault. Brock got less time than her.

Again what really happened to OJ? It wasn't money that got him off. A racist officer planting "evidence" was the reason. And where is he again? Yeah...

Rich black people go to prison way more than rich whites:

So while it's easy for privileged folk to say dumb shit like it's not about black and white it's about green...

Makes a good bumper sticker but that's all.

So confused. They say we all got some racism in us. I've always felt like "F*** racists!" So I feel like I have to say that to everyone on S2.

And I feel like we should say the same to sexists. So "F*** sexists!" Which I also feel like I have to say that to everyone on S2.

Then, without a doubt, I feel like I gotta say, "F*** the rapists!" And then I'm like, I gotta say that to those that to half of S2, cuz I'm feeling like half of you side with this college douchebag. Look, the girl played a part in this story. I have no doubt. But there's a part where you just gotta be like, "Say what you want about this chick, but something ain't right."

Maybe I'd feel differently if dude's dad wasn't such a douche and he tried to be reasonable and sympathetic, but if you really paid attention to what he had to say, I struggle to feel that the kid wasn't crossing boundaries. I feel like dad is almost a bigger villain here than anyone. Dad makes me feel like kid is trying to explain away something more here.

    Flame away.

You had me on this. Until you said it was the racist cop. Don't tell me that, ultimately, it wasn't money that saved OJ. Blame the racist cop, sure, but come on, how many black dudes didn't get off despite the racist cop? It was the money.

People continually blame the racist cop(s) for all the time dudes didn't get off. Can't have it both ways. It was the money.

Bro. If the glove don't fit... you know the rest. That's is singlehandedly the reason he got off.

If you think racism got OJ off, this is where I question your sanity.

Believe me, I don't dispute the pervasiveness and expanse of racism, but if you think racism got OJ off, you're way off base.

"Bro." "Please." Think you missed what I'm saying. Agree mostly with what you've been saying through several of these "controversial" topics but it's like you get so worked up about it and set in your viewpoint, if it ain't 100% what you're saying, you get shut off and downright defensive.

    Mark Fuhrman

"In 1995, Fuhrman was called to testify regarding his discovery of evidence in the O.J. Simpson case, including a bloody glove recovered at Simpson's estate. Fuhrman was known to have used a racist epithet towardAfrican-Americans during the early 1980s, but claimed on the stand that he had not used that term in the last ten years. Simpson's defense team produced recorded interviews with Fuhrman and witnesses documenting that he had repeatedly used racist language during this period."

If racism got OJ off, what about the how many thousands that didn't get off? Prominent, wealthy black folk readily admit OJ got off for his celebrity. One minute, racism cuts down how many average joes, the next minute OJ gets off thanks to racism? I'm shocked anyone thinks it's anything but money.

Don't get me wrong. We have proof they're racist. But you (not you specifically) say they're not racist in one breath (Rodney King) and say they're racist in the next (OJ). Very different outcomes. They're very racist. Money got one off, lack of money/wealth/fam hindered the other.

Your words: Again what really happened to OJ? It wasn't money that got him off. A racist officer planting "evidence" was the reason.

Two very different meanings in all of that with the use of "racist" versus excluding the word there. VERY different implications. I know you're smart enough to really understand that. Exclude "racist" in your implications and there's nothing to discuss.
