By the new definitions of rape, you could turn around and claim that you were drunk and did not give consent. The DA said as much. Drunk means no. What constitutes drunk? That was what Plat was talking about. He's not even talking about the original case anymore. He's talking about the role of alcohol in determining consent. Plat's point was: what constitutes "drunk" by the definition that the DA put forth? If both parties are drunk, can one later change their mind and say that they did not give consent?
