not sure how else to solve this issue when considering "due process". we can't pull an FDR and stick the muslims in internment camps. Once we let people into the US, they start reaping the benefits of our society. We can't just start limiting rights and freedoms for immigrants, we have to rather limit immigration in the first place. sorry but the door should only open to someone willing to demonstrate their commitment to assimilation. additional scrutiny on muslims is prudent given the radicalization movement within that culture. one way to do this is limit immigration to specific occupations that fill a need in our society. families aren't automatically included. second, birth on US soil shouldn't equate to citizenship, that must also include overt steps and intent to be Americans. otherwise the rule of law will never work.
