I never would have suggested this a year ago... or even 6 months ago.... but I was very impressed with this kid in our series. He plays good defense, he can shoot, he can drive... I wouldn't mind bringing him in as the backup point guard. He's a free agent... not sure what his market is, but I haven't really heard any rumors about him.
If you want serious answer, I think he stays at LAC to get coddled more OR goes to a place where he can compete for a starting job (not saying one will be handed to him but somewhere like CHI or MIL he would have a decent shot).
Doc went out of his way to trade for his son when no one else wanted him. Unless Doc wanted him to go, I can't believe he would leave at this point.
Dame, Moe, Meyers already on the team. Barnes and Rivers now potential targets. I know the 2012 draft class was considered historically deep, but man, we don't have to sign them all.
Mason was 2013, Miles was 2012. That's why Mason's a RFA next year for us, not this year. I guess unless you're saying we need to go after Miles, then ignore what I just wrote.
Shoot first, take the ball to the hoop and get your shit swatted-type PG's just aren't my cup of tea, Wook. Plus he was a cocky dickhead while he was in Portland.
I totally agree, great under the radar signing... His defense in playoffs was great and we need a perimeter defender bad...
No anecdotes, I just came across him a few times and he wasn't a very nice guy. He's a sub-average NBA player who thinks he's better than he is. I wouldn't be surprised if when he was in Portland he thought he was the best player on the team. There's generally a reason in pro sports that a guy plays for 6 teams in 7 years. Its usually because they are a less than savory locker room guy.
