Is Trump spending $0 on ads because he knows he won't get the nomination?

I like the cinematic elegance of the commercial. The closing shot would be Bernie high-fiving the monkey. I'd go with the Libertarian guy, but nobody knows who he is.

I kind of want to vote for Jon Snow.

Ha! It's funny when you think of it, the difference between most of the posts on this board and myself where Trump and Hillary is concerned. When out and about, I don't even talk to people that are not supporting Trump! No, I am not
making the selection, perhaps they are, but I don't think so. I just don't find anyone supporting Hillary. I find a hell of a lot of people wanting to tell someone they want Trump! Even some young Hispanic guys working down on the dock.
This board and TV doesn't seem to reflect the world I live in everyday. Entirely different then when Romney was running where nobody was enthusiastic.

I have my boat is the shipyard in Winchester bay right now, and eating every evening in one place or another. Last evening, Hillary was on the news, commenting on the Benghazi report. I looked around the room, heads were shaking, frowns on faces. One guy leaning on the bar, mumbles, no way I want her!

Why is this board and the TV so different than the real world? Yes, it was the same with the people I met here and there travelling up the Columbia to Portland. Trump supporters way more than Hillary.

Pretty sure you'd find the same dynamic across most relatively rural areas of America. It's the urban vote that will put Hillary in the White House. Well, unless the FBI and Justice Dept. put her in court first.

Yeah, I thought of that, but it was the same around the places I had the boat in the Portland area. I don't find Hillary supporters. Ha! Perhaps they just know not to talk to me. Could be!

    Added few minuted later.

I don't think I would call the people here in Winchester Bay rural. They come from all over the West Coast, California to Alaska. So maybe you guys just reflect the urban view.

I wish someone would do a poll asking people to rank Clinton, Trump, and Johnson in order of their preference for any one of them winning the election. You know--find out how many people who are primarily voting against Clinton or Trump would actually prefer to vote for Johnson if they didn't fear throwing their vote away. Yes, I know that polls including Johnson do exist, but it would really be nice to see what the polls would show if the inherent 2 party system bias were eliminated as much as possible.

Oh, I am definitely voting against Hillary. Although Trump was my choice of the Republicans. But if you want to vote against Hillary, Johnson is only a partial vote against her, it makes no sense.

Which is exactly the anti-third-party bias I'm talking about. If you were asked not about your vote specifically, but who you'd actually like to see win, would you say you'd prefer Trump or Johnson?

Yep. But I would like to have the final election be reduced to two candidates.

Why do you want to reduce choice? And why can't you say which of those two you'd actually prefer in the White House?

I don't think I am reducing choice. If we have three running, then the top two make the final round. With three running in the final round, it is too possible of not probably to select the minority choice of two front runners.

Oh, I can say. I guess I thought you already knew. Trump! Johnson is way better than Hillary, but still not the leader I would like running the country. He would due as an administrator until a leader showed.

Should probably include Stein too. Tons of angry Bernie supporters are switched to her side even though the Green party is pretty much anti-science.

That part is pretty similar to the republicans, but the rest of their platform is definitely not like republicans at all.

Most Bernie supporters care more about social issues so they're trying to look past the fact that the green party is anti-GMO, anti-nuclear, anti-vaccine, etc.

I can't think of anything more anti-science uttered by the leader of any party, than this; "this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal..."

More like the messiah's coming for sure!
