With what the game has become, I'll comfortably say that I'd rather have 24-year ole Leonard than the Vanilla Gorilla.

I agree. That old saying is really true.......Slow 3pt. shooting 7 footers who have zero post game, don't and can't play any defense win championships

Well, when we brought him in for 2004-2005, we had a 31 year old Theo Ratliff and Ha Seung-Jin, so the center position wasn't exactly a point of strength on that roster, and it was the same guys two years later when we signed him to his extension.

Conversely, we currently have a logjam in the frontcourt. We have Plumlee, Davis, Vonleh, Leonard, and even Aminu playing some time at the four. If we do end up signing someone like Whiteside, that creates even less playing time for someone like Leonard.

Did you walk up to her and do your weird pose until she agreed to go on a date with you?

Nards was our best interior defender, easily. Remember when he locked up Cousins and held him 4-21 from the field. Cousins looked like a fool.

Name all the other players he played great defense against. I've seen people say Cousins and Gasol and... wait, that's it. He can't guard on the perimeter at all and there aren't very many physical back to the basket centers to worry about. He also sucks at help defense, which is extremely important for a big man. Literally the only reasons he frustrated those two guys is because he is large and fouls a lot.

So one or two games makes him our best interior defender?

So only the two best offensive big men in the game.

    Yes.

Davis is our best help defending big. Meyers one on one in the low block is easily our best interior defender.

So 6 games a year of good defense from Leonard. Nice.

More than 6 games. I've watched it repeatedly. Regardless, I'm interested in resigning Meyers in the 10-12 mil range if we can't get Whiteside or Biyombo.

Mo and Aminu are so similar I think you have to let him walk and re-sign Meyers - even if you do land Whiteside or Dwert.

Mo has way more upside. Aminu should go. Harkless IMO is our brightest young prospect.

I actually wouldn't be upset if we re-signed him at 10 million. I think it's all this talk about teams throwing crazy money at players that makes me think he's gonna get 15+ and I'd be pissed if we gave him that.

We offered him that last year. 4/60.
