If we pay him, he may come back.

I like what I am reading No older FA (except Pau) over the age of 30 unless it is for one year.

So far none of the FA signings are making me very envious. I'm glad the Bulls have been on the sidelines, TBH. I'm seeing a lot of guys I kinda like getting signed to deals I really don't like.

It's possible future cap increases will render these large numbers harmless, otherwise you can bet the owners are planning for that new amnesty clause in the next CBA.

Wouldn't this be an interesting turn of events. Rondo, in a Bulls jersey?

Man, just imagine, and I don't know if it works cap wise, a Wade, Rondo, Butler core. I don't know how Wade has been lately but that's a nice defensive core, with Lopez clogging the middle. It would be a weird team but my God would it be entertaining.

Wouldn't it be something to see Garnett and Gasol on the same team? Haha. I see potential in Tyler Johnson....would love to see that happen. Kid can ball.

    Rondo is.........interesting.

If the rumors of 4 years/50 million are true that's one of the best contracts you can get for the talent, but he's a weird fit with Jimmy on court and off, and it'd mean the death of Hoiball. He's a ball-stopper that likes to dribble around until he can find an assist.

He's also been run out of town in the last 3 places he's been at. The only situation where having Rondo worked was with Doc & KG reigning him in, everywhere else and he just hasn't been able to acquiesce to authority and alienated himself from the team. His stays in Dallas and Sac were trainwrecks.
It's also ironic that we let Rose and Noah walk in order to remove factions within the team only to bring in possibly the most divisive locker room guy in the NBA.

Even without Noah and Rose around, I don't think the locker room will tolerate Rondo being a bossy, defiant Franklin the turtle.
