He's a really good player. I wouldn't consider him top tier. He is on par with Andre Miller, Rod Strickland, Brian Grant. Still doesn't beat Kenny Anderson as our best FA signing ever.
We need another guy who can get 20 pts a game and rebound...we now need a double double machine in the paint
They were talking about Parsons on NBA TV and the one thing that made him stand out.....is what a great teammate everyone said he was. Apparently his teammates like playing with him.
Woj and crew called him top tier level one max free agent all night tonight. When healthy, he can score in bunches and all reports say he's completely healthy
If we're offering Parsons, Whiteside either isn't interested or NO has a deal for a different C lined up. I'd be surprised (and disappointed) if that's our "big" move hours into free agency.
Do you know what a level one max free agent is? He isn't top tier. He hasn't made an all-star game. I'd be ecstatic if we got him. But it's foolish to say "curse is over" like we are a destination town now.
Yeah because he closes on some serious ass bro... I'd wanna be around the guy too, he will be knocking up 10s, while he is doing that I can get with their friends who are all solid 8s.
Rod Strickland will always be my favorite free agent signing in Portland..he was an amazing point guard
Doesn't have to be Whiteside. Gasol might work as well. Maybe even someone out of left field like Larry Sanders
I don't have to know...it's just a term I listened to all night from Woj...take it up with him. If it makes you feel better to call me foolish, I'm happy for you. I do think we're a destination now but go ahead and mire in the muck of the lockout season for a decade...choices
Because, you know, Bleacher Report. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...e-mavs-f-undergoes-season-ending-knee-surgery In addition to the Mavs' playoff chances being negatively impacted, it is also entirely possible that Parsons' value on the free-agent market could take a hit.
