Good question. I'd say dedmon but I don't know if he's good enough to ship out Plumlee or Davis for (I expect one of them to be traded if a big is acquired.)
How bout this? MIN Gets: Meyers Leonard SAC Gets: Ricky Rubio ORL Gets: Rudy Gay POR Gets: Nikola Vucevic
Cole Aldrich has the same TS% as Enes Kanter. And the only centers that rank above them in that category, are ones that only shoot at the rim.
and Cole in his more limited sample size ranked very high in defense I think he'd be a nice pickup at 10 mil per, center by committee
As much as I think Cole Aldrich could be a good pick-up, I struggle to accept that a guy who never averages more than 16 MPG commands a 10M salary. Why has he never had the chance to play more? Why does he never stays somewhere? Big question marks.
He was not very good at all until his last year in Bos, then he really got in great shape for the Clips and played really well but he plays behind Jordan who plays a ton of minutes and rarely gets injured. Some C's can blossom late, not saying he will be anything spectacular but he might fill some key needs on D
You mean Knicks not Boston i think. I see his defenive potential Definitely. But despite the craziness of this year's free agency 10 Millions/year makes me feel physically bad.
I would rather start Leonard than Plumlee at this point so if we are not going to trade for a center, I am okay with Signing and starting Cole.
If we sign him at whatever price, I will trust NeO's judgement. That's always what I do before seeing the guy play.
Cole Aldrich, superstar, taking Rudy Gobert to school. Not only are his offensive numbers elite, he blocks over 3 shots and grabs more than 13 rebounds per 36. He looks like a bonafide all-star based on his stats. I know the Blazers are into stats, so you'd think they'd be taking a hard look at Cole. They've been wanting a center that can score in the post. Check out the block at 1:27
Very nice low post moves. Mobile. I know the guy can play but his age and all his team switches would make me unconfortable. How good of a team mate is he? I don't have the answer to this question because I don't know him obviousely.
Ekpe Udoh is trying to get back to the NBA and we could get Greg Monroe by trade. Maybe That's NeO's plan.
