    It's not the market it's the ring. A ring, in the players minds (Which is reinforced by the media and fans) is that their careers are not complete without a ring. So Durant is making sure he gets at least one. He might only be there one year. But if this was Portland (or SA) with Curry and Klay and Green....there is no doubt in mind Durant would chase the ring here as well.
