Ezeli, while injury prone, is probably a step up from Mahinmi and Aldrich.

Ezili fills a need ... I'm weird though, I'm already writing off the next three years and focusing on the time when Curry is 32 and breaking down and Durant is on his fifth foot surgery

Dallas is going to be paying a lot of money to be the 8th seed and be swept.

Durant signs 2 year deal w/ player option after one year with GS.

    Next year Westbrook leaves Thunder.

Durant immediately opts out and re-signs with Thunder.

As much as i HATE Durant signing with G St. the fallout will be fun to watch and maybe Olshey can take advantage of it.

I read that GS will have a difficult time resigning him next year if he opts out. They won't have early bird rights. The cap is going up again and other teams might have more cap space. This could be for just one year.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
The Warriors should have the cap room to max him out next year, if they don't sign players this year that are still on their cap next year. They'll have the cap room that Durant's currently occupying plus the cap will go up in step with the rising max. They can re-sign Durant, using up all their cap room, and then re-sign Curry to go over the cap with Bird rights.

OK. Doesn't change my mind, the next three or four years are already going to be a bust for us and the rest of the league. In the meantime maybe he likes it here and sticks around and is still around when the NBA emerges from the "Lost Years" that are upon us.

Who are also both scrubs in the scheme of things. If we sign any of these guys, who are we getting rid of? Our front court is already crowded if we keep the guys we have. Turner is going to start at SF. That means Aminu or Harkless are redundant now unless they slide over to PF. Maybe we let Crabbe walk and Turner gets some of his minutes at SG, but I dunno about that. If they slide over to PF, that makes Meyers and Vonleh struggle for more minutes. Then we have Ed and Plums plus whoever we sign at C. Someone is on their way out. I'm only in favor of getting rid of someone if the replacement is better and I don't see Ezeli, Bogut, Mahinmi, or Aldrich as being worth the move. Gasol maybe, but he's old. We might just end up regretting that move in 2 years when he's retired and we have nothing to show for it except another hole in the roster. At this point I might consider trading for Monroe. Then we just have to decide who we're willing to part with, and what our real goal is for the next few years.

I'd say this was Durexit, but that makes it sound like a brand of condom.

We really should go after Monroe now... Golden State won't have a frontcourt that can defend him... It's really the leagues only other Hope from the the obvious one...

You bring up some good questions...however we don't know Turner starts at SF. Maybe he starts at SG and CJ comes off the bench...
And maybe Aminu only plays PF and Harkless only SF. We need versatility with our line ups. Guarding GS will be much different than guarding most other teams as we will need Turner on Klay, Harkless on Durant, and Aminu on Green....and we need CJ' and Crabbe's shooting off the bench.

Bottom line is we need depth and versatility.
