    More like no one else needed a starting center and we lucked into one on a bargain. Sometimes getting rejected pays kids.

    I don't think it's because of his knees. I'm thinking that the teams that had cap space didn't have the need for a center. I think that's why he and his agent were courting us. I also think that he's knees may be okay and that he only wanted a short term deal because he thinks he can stay healthy and get a big contract 2 years from now.

    Plums is already familiar with the system and works well with the starters. I see Ezeli as a backup and defensive enforcer when dictated by certain match-ups. This gives Stotts even more flexibility with his lineups along with the addition of ET.

    Neil addressed our two biggest and most glaring weaknesses.

    I love both acquisitions and how our cap space was managed. A+ for the execution, even if we didn't sign an MVP candidate.

    Ezeli's contract should be an eye opener for Leonard.

    Honestly the contract is actually pretty fair. This is after missing all of February and March, too.

    Now if you average Turner's and Ezeli's contracts together, it looks reasonable for 2 players in the current market.

    I just hope Turner picks up the tab for EVERYBODY when they all hit the Cheesecake Factory.
