That commitment was pushed to the limit one night during the summer between Crabbe's second and third seasons in the league, when his best friend, trainer and roommate, Casey Trujeque, wanted him to get up at the crack of dawn to attend a grueling Bikram Yoga class.

Crabbe thought he was going to have the following day off, but Trujeque changed his mind, leading to an argument at the dinner table.

"Who in their right mind would wake up at 5 a.m. to go to Bikram Yoga?" Trujeque loosely recalls Crabbe saying.

"A kid trying to make $80 million would," Trujeque replied angrily before leaving the table and going to his room.

Trujeque did not set his alarm clock, figuring Crabbe would be sleeping in. But come 5 a.m., Trujeque received a knock on his door.

"Allen said, "Casey, let's go,'" Trujeque recalled. "And right then and there I was like 'Allen's going to be successful.' He really wants this."

Aldridge becoming a whiny jealous bitch towards Lillard was the the best thing that happened to Crabbes' career

$80 million and a chance to meet hot yoga chicks. Where do I sign up?

    BNM

Because my girlfriend is a yoga instructor, I'm allowed to say that without being totally creepy. Sure, I am...

FWIW, a friend told me that Crabbe would get matched.

Didn't totally believe him (I'm in the alcohol industry, so I am cautious with anything and everything people tell me, regardless of the source). But Crabbe was lead to believe pretty early on that we'd be matching. And with that, Crabbe was totally cool with it, and happy to stay on the West Coast and return to PDX. He knows he's young enough to still establish his rep, wherever he could have ended up, but to do that and get paid is gravy. And he is happy to do it in PDX.

Guys typically want to start so they can earn the $$$. Crabbe got that money as is so he really doesn't need that starters cred.

Getting up at 5 am to do sweaty yoga moves with some hot young things.

    Cool.

Getting to the local DMV at 12pm to see a bunch of overweight suburban housewives stand in line wearing sweaty yoga pants.

    Not so cool.

There are three things in life that don't lie: small children, drunks and yoga pants.

I haven't spent much time at Walmart, but based on my experience at the DMV, I can't, and don't want to even try, to imagine how the People of Walmart could possibly be any worse than the People of the DMV.

I do not have much experience at Walmart either, but one would assume that since the DMV is usually involuntary where Walmart is could lead you to accept how Walmart could be worse...

Hey, I'm a middle aged woman and I look great in yoga pants. Because like Crabbe I do things that are uncomfortable. Every day. Of course, I don't shop at Walmart. My fashion store of choice is Ross Dress for Less. Walking distance and I'm old enough to get the Tuesday discount.

Is it a known thing? Does he have a problem or does he just like to go out at night and drink. ....like any other normal 25 year old. Hell I went out every night until I was 28, and I never had a problem. Just liked to get drunk and laid.

Sorry, didn't mean to discriminate based on age. My girlfriend is 53 and looks great in yoga pants, and since she's a yoga instructor, she wears them a lot. Likewise, there are also a lot of younger women who don't look good in yoga pants. And thank god yoga pants for men hasn't become a thing yet - especially for guys my age. But, this is Portland, give it time...

I was merely thinking of Crabbe's interests. Poor young man, having to drag himself out of bed early to go hang out with fit, attractive age appropriate women in his quest for an $80 million windfall. Must be rough.
